From spark to intelligence.
From invention to system.
From Křižík to the future of Mobility 4.0
František Křižík was a man who could turn vision into reality, bringing ideas out of laboratories and into city streets - from light in lamps to the first electric tram.
Just as he once did, today the National Centre for Mobility 4.0 connects science, technology and the world around us. Křižík connected electricity with the movement of people; today we connect data, artificial intelligence and mobility to give Czech engineering a new impulse for the 21st century.

National Centre for Mobility 4.0
National Transport Center 4.0
We bring together excellent capabilities in the Czech Republic in digitalisation, AI and
Smart City solutions for transport across all types, modes and purposes. The aim is to
develop these competences synergistically, disseminate them and help apply them in
practice. Through education, outreach and participation at all levels, we also initiate
new science and research activities and bring their outputs into broad practical use.

Vision
To be a European reference centre for intelligent transport with Czech DNA - a place
where science turns into practical solutions, and where artificial intelligence, data and
infrastructure work together for the benefit of people, cities and regions.

Mission

Expertise and centre leadership
The Strategic Council is an independent body of academic authorities and expert
representatives of the partners. Its mission is to provide qualified feedback to the
General Assembly and the Board of Directors, scientific assessment of solutions for
individual specialist topics, and, where appropriate, assessment of the remit and
activities of the individual expert groups.

Expert groups of the centre are created to address individual specialist programmes
and topics, or to implement partial projects. Members are appointed to and dismissed
